Valor Beans

Valor beans is very common in India but we hardly get this vegetable in the Indian store. I happened to find it in the store and I bought it. Cleaning the valor beans is little time consuming but the preparation of the fry is effortless. This fry can be enjoyed with curd rice or roti. 

  • 3 cups cleaned valor
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • Kanda lasun masala
  • Turmeric
  • Hing
  • Curry leaves
  • Jeera
  • Mustard seeds
  • Salt
  • Oil 
Process->Clean the beans. Add oil to a heated pan. Add jeera, mustard seeds, hing, curry leaves and let it splutter. Add the onions and saute it 2-3 minutes. As the onions cook tender add the beans, kanda lasun masala and salt as per taste. Put a lid on the pan and cook it on a medium flame. The beans will cook tender in 15-20 minutes.
