Green chilli bhendi fry is a very popular bhendi fry amongst
children. Mainly as it has no spices and just green chillies and garlic. It's
just a simple fry and can be enjoyed with chapati, curd rice or dal rice. This
kind of bhendi is very popular is many households in Maharashtra.
- 3 cups chopped
bhendi
- 3 green chillies
sliced
- 5 garlic pods
sliced
- Curry leaves
- Hing
- Turmeric
- Oil
- Salt
Process->In a non-stick pan
add oil and let it heat. Add garlic, green chillies and curry leaves and
saute it for 2-3 minutes. Once the garlic has turned golden add turmeric and
hing and saute it once again and finally add the bhendi. Add some salt and cook
the bhendi on medium flame. Keep tossing the bhendi every couple of minutes. Once it cooks soft switch of the flame.
Note->You can add little tamarind while it is cooking to avoid the stickiness.
