Jeera rice is a common but yet popular rice in any party. The
whole garam masala gives a very nice aroma to the rice and a drizzle of
butter gives it a rich taste. Serve it plain, with dal, veg or non-veg gravies
you are ought to enjoy it and that’s a guarantee.
Ingredients

cup basmati rice
- 1
medium onion sliced
- 2
spoons oil
- 1 spoon jeera
- 5 pepper corns
- 1 masala elaichi
- 4
bay leaves
- 5 cloves
- 2 inch cinnamon
- Salt
- Corriander
leaves
- 1 spoon butter
Process->Add oil to a hot pan. When hot add garam masala, jeera
and onions cook tender. Add the rice to the masala and stir
for 2-3 minutes on a medium flame. Boil 2 cups of water and salt and add
it to the rice. When the rice is half cooked add some butter. Garnish the
rice with corriander and give it a final stir
