Green chillies potato fry

Potato is one vegetable which every household will have and all will love to eat it in some form or the other. Be it french fries, wafers, vada pav, curries, fries, aloo  paratha, baked potato ....and the list goes on. Green chilli potato fry is a very simple curry and you can serve it as a side dish  with chapati, curd rice  or rassam rice or dal rice.
Ingredients
  • 2 big potatoes cubed
  • 1 medium onion sliced
  • 4 green chillies
  • Mustard seeds
  • Jeera
  • Curry leaves
  • Hing 
  • Salt 
  • Turmeric
  • Oil
  • Corriander leaves
Process->Cut the potato in medium cubes or slices and keep it in salt water.In a non-stick pan add oil and all the tadka items(mustard seeds, jeera, hing, curry leaves) and let it splutter. Add the sliced onion and green chillies cook it on a medium flame till translucent. Now finally the potatoes and salt have to in the pan. Give it a toss and cook the potato fry on a medium flame. Do not put the lid the pan. Stir  after every couple of minutes. Once the potatoes have cooked and are soft switch of the gas. Once it has cooled down add the corriander leaves.
