Quick Mushroom Rice

Mushroom rice is a quick fix meal. Its an easy rice which requires no prior preparation. Put the rice on one stove to cook and by the time the rice gets cooked just chop the onion, tomatoes, onions and corriander leaves. If you have some left over rice in the fridge you can use that also. Another alternative to use the left overs from the fridge.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup rice
  • 1 small onion sliced
  • 1 medium tomato sliced
  • 1 1/2 cup mushroom sliced
  • Everest biryani powder
  • Turmeric
  • Salt
  • Corriander leaves
  • Oil
Process->Wash the rice and add water and salt and cook it in a rice cooker. In a non stick pan add oil and heat it. Once heated add the sliced onions and cook it tender. Add the tomatoes and mushroom. Next add the salt, turmeric, biryani powder and put a lid and cook. As the tomatoes and mushroom cook tender and start oozing water increase the flame and saute it continuously till the water evaporates. Sprinkle the corriander leaves and add the rice and toss it.
