Sev batata moong puri

Sev batata dahi puri is a popular Indian street food item. The interesting thing about chaat is that there is no particular process or recipe involved. Just look around in your kitchen and you can find lot of interesting stuff around to make your chaat tasty. Potato is the main ingredient in sev batata dahi puri but try out it out with moong sprouts to make it healthier. The moong sprouts give it a healthy crunch.

  • Puffed puris
  • Fine sev
  • 1 medium boiled potato
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 1/c up moong sprouts
  • 1/2 medium tomato diced
  • Tamarind chutney
  • Corriander leaves
  • Yogurt
  • Salt
  • Red chilli powder
Process->Make a hole in the puris. Take the moong sprouts and potato in a bowl and add little salt and mix it. In a plate arrange all the puris and fill the puris with the potatoes, moong sprouts, tomatoes, onions. Drizzle some tamarind chutney and yogurt on the puris. Sprinkle the sev generously on the puris. Garnish it with corriander leaves and give it a dash of red chilli powder. 

Note->You can use chaat masala also.
