Besan shimla mirch is a simple fry. The capsicum is coated in the gram flour and it will be chunky so you can enjoy with chapati or simply eat. Sugar plays the most important part in giving the fry a different taste.
- 2 cups diced capsicum
- 6 spoons gram flour
- Red chilli powder
- 1 spoon sugar
- 1/2 spoon Dhaniya jeera powder
Process->Heat the oil in a non-stick pan. Add jeera, turmeric and capsicum and fry for 2 minutes. Add red chilli powder, dhaniya jeera powder, salt and sugar. Cook the capsicum tender. It will take 10-15 minutes. Slowly sprinkle the gram flour and keep stirring. Mix the gram flour and capsicum properly. Let the fry cook on a low flame for 10 15 minutes till the raw smell disappears.
