Basic Salad

Salad is the healthiest food that has been evolved by human being. You can experiment with salad like add fruits, vegetables, cheese, meat, seasonings, olive oil, dressings to name a few. There are a lot of ready made dressings also available in the store which you can add in the salad. I am telling you about a simple substitute instead of dressings that is lemon. Prepare the salad just before eating to retain the crispness of the leaves.

Ingredients
  • 4 salad leaves chopped
  • 1/2 medium tomato diced
  • 1 small medium onion diced
  • 1 spoon lemon juices
  • 2 pinches salt
  • 1/2 spoon sugar

Process->In a mixing bowl take the salad leaves, tomatoes, onions, lemon juice, salt and sugar and give it a toss. Sprinkle some grated cheese and bread croutons as per your choice to add a little crunch while eating.
