My father is very fond of green leafy vegetables so he would to
bring a lot of different varieties to cook. I realized the importance of them
when I came here and you could hardly get any of them here. Spring onion was
one of them. There are lot of varieties you can make out of it.Slowly I will
tell about them.
Process->Soak the moong dal for 10 minutes. Cut the spring onion fine. Take oil in a pan. When hot add hing, turmeric, green chillies and garlic. Then add spring onion and fry it. Add salt and moong dal. Put the lid on the pan. Once spring onion has cooked and the moong dal is tender and stir continuously till the water evaporates. Enjoy it with bhakri or chapati.

- 8 spring onion

- 1 spoon moong
dal
- Green chillies
- Turmeric
- Salt
- Hing
- Oil
