Green beans & cabbage

Green beans & cabbage bhaaji is a very simple and crunchy stir fry with minimal spices and garnished with fresh coriander leaves. Serve it with chapati and pickle on the side. Quick and easy option.

  • 1/2 small cabbage 
  • 10-15 green beans
  • 2 slit green chillies
  • Salt
  • Turmeric
  • Oil 
  • Jeera
  • Hing
  • Mustard
  • Curry leaves
  • Corriander leaves
Process->Cut the cabbage and green beans in long thin strips. Pour oil in a hot pan. Add mustard and jeera and let it splutter. In that add the curry leaves, hing, green chillies and turmeric and sauté . In that add the sliced green beans and cook it for 2-3 minutes. Then add the cabbage and salt and cook it on a medium flame till the green beans and cabbage are tender. Once the both the vegetables are cooked increase the flame and stir continuously till the water evaporates. Garnish it with corriander leaves.
