Masala papad

Papad and raita is very popular accompaniment with biryani or pulao. Papad is one thing that you can eat fried or roasted, plain or masala it gives a very nice crunchy feeling when you are enjoying with soft rice. Masala papad is a very popular appetizer in any restaurant.

Ingredients
  • 2 papads
  • 2 spoons finely diced onion
  • 1/2 medium finely diced tomato
  • Corriander leaves
  • 1/4  spoon red chili powder
  • 1 spoon lemon juice
  • 2 pinches chat masala
  • Oil
  • Salt 
Process->Apply little oil on the papad from both the sides and roast the papad on the flame. Keep them aside for a couple of minutes. The papad will cool down and get crispy. In a bowl mix onions, tomatoes, corriander leaves, lemon juice, salt and red chilli powder. Sprinkle the masala on the papad and give it a dash of chat masala and serve immediately.

Note->by applying oil on the papad the masala does not make the papad soggy.
