Spicy breaded brinjal

Winter has arrived and in the cold evenings when the temperature is reducing you generally have a craving to eat hot spicy appetizer. It should be a quick fix so when you return tired from office you can just make it and enjoy it in no time. Spicy breaded appetizer is one such option.

Ingredients
  • Big brinjal
  • 2/3 cup italian bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • Black pepper
  • Water

Process->Make 1/4 inch round slices of the brinjal. Sprinkle little salt on the brinjal slices. In the mean time mix all purpose flour, salt, black pepper powder and water to make a smooth paste. Squeeze out the excess water from the brinjal slices and dip it in all purpose flour paste and roll it in bread crumbs. Drop in a non-stick frying pan. Drizzle some oil on the side. Roast it on a medium flame on both the sides and make it crispy. Serve it with tomato ketchup.
