And the heart burn the upset stomach start playing there role very well in your stomach. These days I am trying to make satvik or healthy food for my family. The food which I am trying to cook is very simple and tasty. This is  one of the easiest dals which you can try making and accompany with curry and rice or with curd rice.

Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup toor dal
  • 1 Green chillies
  • 4 garlic pods
  • Turmeric
  • Jeera
  • Mustard seeds
  • Curry leaves
  • Hing
  • Oil
  • Salt
  • Sugar
  • Corriander leaves
Process->Wash the toor dal. Add water, turmeric and hing to the toor dal and cook it in a pressure cooker giving it 3 whistles. Once the toor dal is cooked mash it with a spatula. Take oil in a non stick pan add jeera, mustard seeds, curry leaves and hing and fry it. As the tadka starts spluttering in that add green chillies and mashed garlic pods and saute for 1-2 minutes. Finally add the toor dal, salt and sugar and let it boil. Once the dal boils switch of the gas. Garnish it with corriander leaves.
