Hari Bhari Shimla Mirch.....

In my earlier blog I have told you about how to make besan shimla mirch. This is one more variation of the same fry. I have added green chilli garlic paste, onions and no sugar in it. You can enjoy this fry with chapati or dal rice. The green chillies, corriander leaves and green capsicum give a nice hara bhara color to the fry.

Ingredients
  • 2 cups diced capsicum
  • 3/4 cup diced onion
  • 2-3 green chillies
  • 4-5 garlic pods
  • Curry leaves
  • 4 spoons gram flour
  • Salt
  • Turmeric
  • Jeera
  • Hing
  • Oil
  • Corriander leaves
Process->Make a fine paste of green chillies and garlic in the blender don't add any water while grinding. In a non-stick skillet take little oil and heat it. Add the jeera, curry leaves and hing and let it splutter. Next add the onions, salt and turmeric and fry for 2-3 minutes. Add the the green chilli garlic paste and saute it for 1-2 minutes on a medium flame. Finally add the diced capsicum and toss it with the onions. Place a lid on the pan cook the capsicum tender. Sprinkle the gram flour on the capsicum slowly and toss it. Adjust the taste of salt if necessary. Let the fry cook on a slow medium flame. The gram should cook properly. Turn off the flame and add corriander leaves and mix it.

Note->You can add finely sliced green chillies on the fry to make it more spicy.
