Peanut Chutney

Currently busy preparing for my daughter's birthday party so not having sufficient time to type any recipes. Idli or dosa being a favorite in every household you need to make different chutneys to go well with the idli's. This is one more simple chutney which you make in a couple of minutes and involves no prior preparation. 

  • 1/2 cup roasted peanuts
  • 1/4 cup roasted chana dal
  • 3-4 dried red chillies
  • Tamarind
  • Salt

Process->In the blender add the roasted peanuts, roasted chana dal, tamarind, red chillies and salt. Crush it adding little water at a time to make a fine paste. You can use red chilli powder if you don't have dried red chillies. Tadka is optional. 

Note->Tadka is optional.(Oil, jeera, mustards seeds, curry leaves and hing)
