Tomato Onion Koshimbir

Remember one saying the entrance to your man's heart is through his stomach. And I definitely believe in this logic. The onion tomato koshimbir is an easy  but different kind of raita. You can eat this koshimbir with chapati alone if you are getting bored to make bhaaji. The peanuts give a crunchy feeling to the koshimbir. The tangy taste of the lemon and the right quantity or salt and sugar is what enhances the taste of the koshimbir.

Ingredients
  • 1 big tomato
  • 1 small onion
  • 1/4 cup peanuts
  • 1 green chilli
  • Jeera
  • Mustard seeds
  • Curry leaves
  • Hing
  • Turmeric
  • Oil
  • Salt
  • Sugar
  • Lemon juice
  • Corriader leaves
Process->Chop the onion and tomato in small squares. Make a coarse powder of the peanuts. Mix the onion, tomato, corriander leaves, lemon juice, salt, sugar and peanuts. In a small tadka pan add one spoon oil in that mustard seeds, jeera, sliced green chilli, hing and turmeric and let it splutter. Pour the tadka on the koshimbir and toss it.

Note-> Make this koshimbir just before serving so that peanuts are crunchy.
